Presentations will be 25 minutes with 15-25 slides followed by 35 minutes of live discussion with attendees.. The presentation will be recorded. The recorded presentation will then be available on-demand on the AOAAM education site.

Requirements for On-Demand Speaker Programs:

  • All presentations must be evidence based.
  • All presentations need to be submitted on an AOAAM PowerPoint template. Click here to download the AOAAM PowerPoint Template
  • A draft of the PowerPoint needs to be submitted for review.
  • AOAAM will set up a time to record your presentation. If you opt to record your own program, an MP4 file of the program needs to be submitted.

  • Professional Practice Gap (Answer needs to include:  1) What problem is the lecture planned to address/how are the intended participants currently involved?  2) Cite the source used to identify the problem.)
  • Educational Need/Topics for the Presentation (Answer needs to include: 1. Why does the problem exist and what will be presented to address what the learner needs to do?)  
  • What educational need(s) are the cause of the professional gap(s)? Indicate all that apply and explain:* (Medical Knowledge, Competence, Performance, Osteopathic Philosophy and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine, Patient Care, Interpersonal and Communication Skills, Professionalism, Practice-Based Learning and Improvement, System-Based Practice)
  • Explain what educational need(s) are the cause of the professional gap(s). (Answer needs to include all that apply and explain: knowledge, competence, and/or performance...)
  • Learning Objectives (Answer needs to include: 3-4 overall objectives/results. Please format using the bullet points.  What is the learner expected to achieve or be able to do to address the identified professional practice gap(s) after the lecture?)
  • Desired Results/Change(s) Expected (Answer needs to include: 1 - The lecture is designed to change: (indicate all that apply: competence, performance, and/or patient outcomes). 2- How will the activity change the Learners’ competence, performance, and/or patient outcomes? How will it be measured?)
  • Pre/Post Test: Provide 5 to 10 questions (multiple choice or true/false) for the pre & post test. At the end of the webinar, attendees will need at least a 70% to pass and receive their CME. The minimum number of questions for the test is 5.
  • References – (For CME accreditation purposes: you must provide at least one evidence-based article to support your presentation. References may not be more than three years old)
  • Brief speaker bio (for promotion) and speaker photo.
